For real. FIRE.
I know putitupto11 keeps fire jams rollin’ for you every week. But I spend all day errr’day on the HYPE MACHINE (this is linked to my music). Here’s some of my new favorites on this HUMPDAY.

I went to a show last week to see OCD: Moosh and Twist at a place called SOB’s in NYC. I had an awesome time, got real drunk with Project Pat. The show itself was wild — basically right on stage the whole time.
But the dude that got my attention was one of the openers, Yonas. A few songs we’ve featured here on TMF have been remixed recently and I felt sharing them was an obvious thing to do. Yonas did two solid remixes of M83′s ”Midnight City” and Foster the People’s ”Pumped up Kicks” that are worth giving a listen.
Chiddy Bang, who we’ve featured here a few times turned out this Naked and Famous ”Young Blood” remix that I highly recommend.
Lastly, a remix I stumbled upon while listening to some Jubliants songs, and this one popped up.
Tomorrow is Friday so throw these on your playlist for the weekend.
Stay Hot.
Started an account on Hype Machine a few days ago, pretty dope music site packed full of remixes and unheard tracks. Stumbled upon this Drake remix from SBTRKT (pronounced “subtract”) and thought it was fire. This guy brings all the fire components into his music: dub-step, R&B, house, two-step and more. Mashing up tracks and wearing this sick tribal masks.
Too good not to share so here are a few tracks for your Friday morning.
SBTRKT ft. Little Dragon – Wildfire (Remix ft. Drake)
cho_kettie is about to make way to NYC and we’re making this one the new weekend jam.
Plus … Pharaohs and Pharro … You see where I am goin with this.
STAY HOT. IT’S FRIDAY.
It’s Monday. Everything sucks … except these songs.
Ghost Beach just popped up next to toomuchfire’s Gemini Club post. Just a little something for the beginning of another stellar work week in the making. Keep punching buttons desk jockeys, the weekend is only 5 days away.
Stay hot.
New music from Philly duo OCD: Moosh & Twist. These kids are legit and I wanted to write about them before but I never got a chance to. Now that they are putting out some new music, what better time?
Hip Hop has been moving in so many different directions in the last few years. I don’t know much about how these kids made it to where they are right now, but I do know where they are going. They are young, like Freshmen in college young and ready to rock. The video of them on Batcave Radio is a perfect example. It gives you a look at how these kids work off each other to create a musical experience. This is the latest song from their YouTube page.
Hold it Down
I gotta be the 1, cause number 2′s for pencils
You hear their flow? You listening to the lyrics? You know a lot of white boys who flow like that? Maybe you have to listen again? I’ll wait.
Twist, who’s name is Oliver, in my mind has one of the best flows I’ve heard in a long time. Something you wouldn’t expect from a white kid but it’s seriously awesome to watch. But how can I take that away from Moosh? He’s the same way, tight flow and sick lyrics. These two kids are best friends doing HUGE things. Below is my favorite of their jams that I’ve had on my playlist since it dropped last year.
Black Forest Gummy Worms
More tracks after the jump. Trust me…you want to watch them.
Just a little Wiz Khalifa to get you through the last 2 hours. Been on a Wiz kick lately so this is off his 2009 second album “Deal or No Deal” — fitting for a 4:20 post.
I’m heading to see Tom Brady and the Pats destroy Teblow with cho_kettie so we’ll catch you on the flip side of MLK day.
Big things coming. LETS GO.
STAY HOT.
First heard this song in the 2011 snowboard film The Art of Flight, produced by Red Bull Media House. Turn it up people, weekend is almost here.
The Naked and Famous – Young Blood.
The Naked and Famous – Punching In a Dream
The Naked and Famous – No Way
The Art of Flight
The movie could be one of the best views into making a snowboard film and the limits snowboarders push themselves to trying to reach that next level. Some of the most intense riding I’ve ever seen. Plus pretty much anything Red Bull gets their hands on is pure gold. Travis Rice pushes it to the next level throughout the whole film and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Something tells me I wrote about it before. Don’t care, just watch it and enjoy.
STAY HOT, or stay warm since it’s like fucking 50 degrees in NYC today.
