What’s this movie about? JAKTEN STARTER 26. AUGUST…or something? Doesn’t matter what it’s about. It’s awesome. Go see it.
Oh you’re going to be like that, huh? Fine. The movie is about a small guy who has a Napoleon complex and gets in some real shit, and then basically has to kick ass to keep from dying.
Every obstacle is smart. Smart obstacles separate good movies from bad ones.
Go see it, unless you live in Texas. You guys don’t get these kinds of movies.
I went to a show last week to see OCD: Moosh and Twist at a place called SOB’s in NYC. I had an awesome time, got real drunk with Project Pat. The show itself was wild — basically right on stage the whole time.
But the dude that got my attention was one of the openers, Yonas. A few songs we’ve featured here on TMF have been remixed recently and I felt sharing them was an obvious thing to do. Yonas did two solid remixes of M83′s ”Midnight City” and Foster the People’s ”Pumped up Kicks” that are worth giving a listen.
Chiddy Bang, who we’ve featured here a few times turned out this Naked and Famous ”Young Blood” remix that I highly recommend.
Lastly, a remix I stumbled upon while listening to some Jubliants songs, and this one popped up.

I guess you can say sometimes stereotypes are accurate and not offensive. Let’s examine the obvious one: most people will smoke pot today because it’s 4/20.

It’s the most unofficial holiday people are devoted to since Halloween. I am sure that people everywhere are lighting up and enjoying their day. What most people don’t get is they are harmless. They are not running around in the streets ripping down signs and shooting cops (that’s what sober people do). They are sitting on their couch playing MarioKart, listening to music and eating all the food they have in their house. Worst thing that happens is they run out of Double Stuffed Oreo’s at some point.
Let these people everyone kill their brain cells today. Even grams and gramps are comin’ over to toke up.

Now I have been trying to find out why people are so passive on the whole ‘Molly’ thing. People just don’t seem to care? Other than the whole Madonna thing in Miami last week, when Deadmau5 got pissed about her saying it when introducing him (ed. It was Avicii). I didn’t have the effort to do that research (ed. clearly) because I keep watching this video.
Do people just not care that much because it’s also a girls name? Like I don’t know anyone named “Pot” or “Crack” so maybe it’s not that big of a deal?

Started an account on Hype Machine a few days ago, pretty dope music site packed full of remixes and unheard tracks. Stumbled upon this Drake remix from SBTRKT (pronounced “subtract”) and thought it was fire.This guy brings all the fire components into his music: dub-step, R&B, house, two-step and more. Mashing up tracks and wearing this sick tribal masks.
